About Freedom Forestry

I’m the owner and operator of Freedom Forestry & Land Clearing, and I take a very hands-on approach to every project. When you contact my business, you’re working directly with me — the same person who shows up, runs the equipment, and sees the job through from start to finish.

I am a retired United States Air Force veteran, where I spent over 20 years as a KC-135 Boom Operator, logging more than 5,000 flight hours and 250 combat sorties. While that job title may not be familiar to most people, the responsibility behind it is easy to understand: operating complex, high-value machinery in close proximity to other aircraft, often in challenging conditions, with zero room for mistakes. Precision, situational awareness, safety, and discipline weren’t optional — they were the standard.

Those same skills translate directly to the work I do today. Running a compact track loader and forestry mulcher requires constant attention to terrain, obstacles, machine limits, and surroundings. Clearing land safely and efficiently isn’t about rushing — it’s about control, planning, and executing the job the right way. My military background shaped how I approach equipment operation, job planning, and customer communication, and I carry that mindset into every project.

I was born and raised in rural Florida, and I understand the land, vegetation, and conditions unique to this area — from thick underbrush and palmettos to pine, oak, and overgrown pasture. This isn’t just a business to me; it’s work I respect and take pride in doing well for my neighbors and local community.
